"Who's who in my zoo?"
Most tools make you
look things up.
This one already knows.
A self-hosted AI memory assistant for your world โ the people who matter, your private journal, things you want to recall, loops you're tracking. You decide what gets remembered. Your notes live in your own Cloudflare account โ not ours, not anyone's. No passive recording. No always-on mic. Just a conversation with your own curated memory.
What it is
WhosWhoZoo remembers your world โ the people who matter to you, your private journal, quick fragments you'd otherwise lose (links, contacts, things to look up), and open loops you're tracking. Tell it something, ask questions later. Every conversation loads your complete memory so Claude always knows the context, history, and details you've noted.
Think of it as a smarter notebook that talks back โ and that nobody else can read. Voice and text. Mobile-first.
Your notes live as plain text files in your own Cloudflare account โ not on any company server. You own them completely. No subscription โ you pay Anthropic and OpenAI directly for usage (typically a few cents per session).
When you'd use it
Starting a new job? Remember every name, role, and quirk from your first 90 days of intros.
1:1 in ten minutes? "What did we talk about last time with Maria?" โ answered before you sit down.
Family reunion coming up? Pull up your cousin's kids' names before you walk in the door.
Meeting someone twice in two years? Recall what they care about before the call.
Keeping a private journal? Save reflections, get them back when you need to remember how something felt โ nobody else reads it.
Tired of losing links and contacts? Drop a fragment โ "that article on negotiation tactics" or "Sara's direct line at the vendor" โ and ask for it later in plain English. Better than bookmarks, because you can ask what you meant instead of guessing what you titled it.
What makes it different
๐ง Curated, not captured. You build your memory deliberately โ adding people, correcting what you got wrong, archiving what fades. Unlike passive recorders that dump everything into a haystack, yours reflects your actual understanding of your world. The more you tend it, the more accurate it gets.
๐๏ธ Sees everything, every time. Every question loads your complete memory before Claude answers. No vector-search guesses, no partial results โ it gets the full picture every chat. What you wrote is what Claude knows. No retrieval errors, no missed context.
๐ Technically yours โ not just promised. Your memory lives in your own Cloudflare account. We don't have a database. There's nothing to breach at our end, nothing to sell, nothing to lose if this project shuts down. Plain markdown files in your cloud, forever.
๐ซ No always-on mic. Hardware memory devices record everything โ your conversations, other people's conversations, things you'd never want saved. WhosWhoZoo requires intentional input. That's not a limitation. That's a privacy and legal boundary most passive tools quietly ignore.
Stays manageable as it grows
Active records are always available. Older ones archive automatically. Deep history stays searchable forever without cluttering your day-to-day. The app handles the tiers โ you just talk to it.
Privacy & cost
๐ฐ Most memory apps charge $15โ25/month and store your data on their servers. This costs about $1โ3/month at normal use โ and nothing ever touches our infrastructure, because we don't have any.
๐ก๏ธ Your notes are not used to train AI. Anthropic's API terms exclude API inputs and outputs from model training by default โ distinct from the consumer Claude.ai service. Your memory is processed to answer your question, then forgotten. Not stored long-term, not used to improve any model.
๐ Technically impossible for us to read your data. There is no WhosWhoZoo server, no database, no back-end. Your files sit in your own Cloudflare account โ we have no credentials, no access, no copy. Not "we promise not to look." Structurally impossible.
๐ Your API keys never leave your own infrastructure. Your Anthropic and OpenAI keys are stored as encrypted secrets in your Cloudflare Worker โ never in a browser, never on a shared server.
๐ณ No subscription โ fill a bucket. Prepay Anthropic and OpenAI directly (~$5 each gets most people months). Pay only for what you use โ typically a few cents per session. ElevenLabs voices are optional with a free tier.
๐ก No telemetry, no analytics. This landing page has no tracker. The app has no phone-home. Nothing for me to read, ever.
๐ฑ Built mobile-first. Voice in, voice out. Biometric unlock. Designed for one-thumb use on a phone.
If you find this useful
$20 one-time keeps the project going.
No subscription. No account. Honor system.
Pay $20 on Venmo โ
Or whatever feels fair if $20 isn't right for you. Free is also OK โ pay if and when it earns it.
How setup works
1
Get the prerequisites. Create accounts on
Cloudflare (free),
Anthropic (~$5 prepaid), and
OpenAI (~$5 prepaid). Grab your API keys from each.
2
Run the installer. Double-click the binary above. It walks you through pasting your API token + keys, then deploys the Worker and KV namespace to your Cloudflare account. ~5 minutes.
3
Open the app. The installer prints your Worker URL and a one-time Access Key. Visit the URL, paste the key, pick a passphrase, and you're in. Start adding people.
